Will stocks march higher if we get a permanent ceasefire?

For 2 months the market has marched higher on “Iran talks going good” posts from Trump and US officials, so if a deal potentially arises this weekend what happens going forward?

If I didn’t know this was the /nq chart and hid the symbol it could be mistaken for any crypto shit coin. This has been a historical move in all contexts, some calling it manipulation while others are saying it’s AI growth being brought to fruition.

I am going to be in the camp it could be a sell the news event, but may not happen right away. I will be looking for a gap up and sideways day on this news first, unless we get a gap and go into /nq 30,300 area then I will look for an intraday reversal and a very juicy setup if this occurs. Refer to previous posts where I discuss the /nq trendline that looms above and how I will play a short everytime we touch it as it has had some of the highest win rates. I will take this bet everytime with a large sum of money everytime.

This will be short and sweet, my trade ideas if we gap into /nq 30,300 is a short on all these semis that are up 100’s of percent…. INTC 0.00%↑ QCOM 0.00%↑ AXTI 0.00%↑ AAOI 0.00%↑ AVGO 0.00%↑ NVDA 0.00%↑ AMD 0.00%↑ ARM 0.00%↑ SMH 0.00%↑ SOXL 0.00%↑ MRVL 0.00%↑ TSM 0.00%↑ as these names even if this isn’t “the top” but a correction we will see the largest drops in names up the most as they will be over crowded and need the biggest cleansing. Also a name I am currently short is GOOGL 0.00%↑ and this is purely a chart setup, as it put in an ATH the day after opex and closed lower. I like this setup as in past names that pulled this move have had exhaustion to the upside and end up way lower. Let’s see if it plays out ( COIN 0.00%↑ had the same type of exhaustion high in summer last year in $400’s and now is in high 100’s) as this could be one of them narrative follows price and a sea change in mega cap capex spending? Not sure let’s see how this plays out.
